Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for technical support and expertise for simulation operations including integration, maintaining, programing and operating high fidelity mannequins, audio/visual technology, task trainers and medical equipment. The Simulation Technician maintains simulation space, mannequins, scheduling and assist with planning training sessions. This position works directly with content experts to setup simulation scenario/equipment to support an education environment. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.Schedule:Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks | St. CloudDays | 8-hour shifts | 7:30am - 4pm Tuesday through ThursdayPay and Benefits:Starting pay begins at $26.22 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experiencePay range: $26.22 - $39.32 per hourTuition reimbursement and college grant programs availableFull-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!Qualifications:Associate degree in Simulation Education, Information Technology or healthcare related field; three years of experience in healthcare simulation or information technology can be substituted in lieu of educationComputer experience requiredKnowledge of video and audio applications requiredSim Ops training must be obtained within duration of employment, within 3 years required2 years Simulation or In-situ application knowledge preferredHigh fidelity manikin maintenance experience preferred3 years of patient care experience preferredA valid MN driver's license in good standing requiredFlexibility in work hours that may include early morning to late afternoons to support the Simulation Center education activities is requiredExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of staff and leadership styles is essential
