Provide ongoing technical guidance and engineering issue resolution to field teams as needed.Position DetailsEnsure compliance with engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instruction.Identify design, process and equipment options that can satisfy client requirements, minimize costs and limit potential operational problems.Teach others how to interface directly with other disciplines and coordinate with client personnel, contractors, architects, and other project team members to ensure value engineering and the delivery of high-quality projects within the prescribed time frames. Provide guidance on presentations when necessary.Develop and distribute methods for providing solutions for complex engineering problems and identifying the most efficient and acceptable approach to executing a broad range of design activities.Provide direction for preparation of on-site field surveys to collect or deliver design and engineering data.Write technical narratives to capture design standards, lessons learned, and constructability input.Provide input for project scheduling and budgeting related to engineering activities.Develop and maintain standards for engineering calculations, drawing presentation and content, and proper incorporation of external input.Understand and assist with the input and output of accurate project data in Brandt systems.Maintain timely and accurate oral and written technical reports regarding assigned engineering activities.Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.
