Job Description Job Title: CarpenterJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic and growing company as a Carpenter, specializing in drywall and taping services. This role offers a comprehensive range of specialty construction services, including building dry-down, indoor environmental remediation, fire and flood mitigation, and both interior and exterior construction services.ResponsibilitiesMake accurate measurements to cut and hang drywall for journeyman tapper.Install drywall for new builds.Tape and mud drywall efficiently.Assist in painting projects and perform paint prep work.Conduct paint patch work.Apply spray texture as needed.Be willing to assist in various aspects of drywall work.Essential Skills6 months to 1+ year of carpentry experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Proficiency with hand and power tools.1+ year of construction or general labor experience.Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans, and other specifications.Strong working knowledge of job site safety and ability to complete a company-specific safety orientation.Ability to accurately cut and measure materials.Capability to work in commercial spaces.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be able to pass an MVR to transition to a permanent role.Why Work Here?This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing company that has recently been acquired, enhancing the benefits offered. The role involves first shift hours, with the flexibility to travel across the Twin Cities. Join teams of 1-2 working around metro commercial buildings, with tools provided. However, contractors may also use their own customized tools if preferred. The company offers expertise in insurance repair, fire and water damage, structural repairs, storm damage, interior/exterior repairs, and emergency services.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk River, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
