M&F Talent has a horticultural lighting client that is searching for a new Regional Sales Manager. Our client has been around for decades and has manufactured, serviced, and supported best-in-class horticultural lights in North & South America. In a market that is rapidly evolving, this is a great opportunity to join an industry leader for your next adventure.The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for business development in selling supplemental lighting solutions to the horticultural and medicinal markets in their assigned region. This role is hands-on, accountable for increasing sales and expanding the current customer base. This position will work remotely from home and will require travel across multiple states or provinces.Location: Northeast & Upper Midwest (USA)Employment type: Full-timeSalary: $80K (plus commissions)ResponsibilitiesWork with existing accounts and develop new accounts, determining their needs and requirements based on a thorough knowledge of our client’s products and servicesDevelop, manage, and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish revenue goalsPlan, direct and monitor the activities of a dealer sales channel within the region adjacent to your direct sales efforts, to achieve established revenue targetsContribute to the team development of regional strategies related to sales, marketing, customer retention, pricing, and distributionPrepare and present professional sales presentations on products, services, and solutionsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors’ products, market trends and opportunitiesManage and maintain CRM sales pipeline for forecasting, generate quotes and light plans for customers as requiredQualificationsExceptional project, account, and territory management skillsStrong prospecting and opportunity business development skillsSelf-motivated, with a positive attitude, and the ability to think outside the boxExceptional relationship management / customer-first skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross functional teamsAbility to juggle and manage multiple time sensitive projects and tasks at one timeFluent in sales forecasting and use of a CRM systemProficient with MS Office 365 Applications, CRM Systems, and Light Planning SoftwareContact us if you’d like to learn more about the Regional Sales Manager role or M&F Talent’s CEA recruitment offerings.
