Equipment Management Service and Repair – EMSAR, headquartered in Wilmington Ohio, is a fast- growing national technical services company providing maintenance, repair and installation services to OEMs in the Healthcare, Self-Service Kiosk and Vacuums. Reasonable accommodations may be made to assist individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions: Provides in-house preventative maintenance, minor repairs, performance verifications, calibrations, and software/hardware upgrades on EMSAR supported equipment. Reviews assigned work orders and documents all facets of the work product in EMSAR’s Service Max and eBiotrack software systems. Provides accurate and timely reporting of service status and escalations pertaining to services. Updates work status for each service action accurately and timely in EMSAR’s service databases. This includes functions such as product disposition, parts ordering, scheduling updates and work order closure in appropriate systems. Controls and maintains all EMSAR assets, including tools, parts, and test equipment needed to perform work tasks. Supports and applies appropriate quality system processes. Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervisor/manager What we’re looking for and personal characteristics: ISO13485 certification Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications Excellent understanding of electronics and mechanical repair Excellent troubleshooting skills Excellent verbal and written skills Capable of reading and interpreting written technical instructions, safety manuals, service manuals, policies, and procedures. Entry to moderate level technical skills for low to medium complexity mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic equipment. Works semi-independently with moderate supervision. Preferred qualifications: An AA (or better) in mechanical or electrical systems with experience with electronic test equipment or equivalent military training is required. CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician), preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Able to lift 50 pounds. This job is considered generally sedentary although standing for prolonged periods might be required.
