Insurance & Compliance Administrator

In this role, you'll take ownership of key fleet compliance and risk management programs, ensuring alignment with DOT regulations and company policies while driving continuous improvement.You'll act as a trusted partner across the business, analyzing data, managing claims, and identifying opportunities to reduce risk and improve operations. If you enjoy problem-solving, working cross-functionally, and making an impact through data and compliance, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.Location: Onsite with Hybrid FlexibilityResponsibilities:Lead fleet accident intake, documentation, and claim coordination from start to finishManage first-party auto physical damage claims, working with vendors, adjusters, and internal teamsOwn and maintain fleet accident and compliance databases, ensuring data accuracy and reporting insightsAdminister DOT compliance programs, including certifications, inspections, and documentation trackingProvide guidance to drivers and leadership on compliance requirements and risk-related decisionsCoordinate safety meetings, inspections, and medical certifications to maintain compliance standardsAnalyze trends in incidents and compliance data to recommend improvements and corrective actionsMonitor driver qualifications, licenses, and training to identify and mitigate riskSupport fleet operations through invoice review, budget tracking, and vehicle lifecycle coordinationServe as a key point of contact during incidents or emergencies, ensuring proper response and escalationMaintain flexibility to support occasional after-hours calls or urgent situations as neededOther duties as assigned by supervisor.Requirements:Associate's degree in business, risk management, transportation, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experience in fleet, transportation, safety, insurance, OR compliance programsWorking knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and claims administration processes is preferredStrong analytical skills with experience using Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards)Ability to interpret regulations, exercise independent judgment, and resolve complex issuesExcellent organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teamsHigh level of discretion and attention to detail in handling sensitive informationFlexibility to support business needs, including occasional after-hours communicationExternal Recruitment ProcessEasy Application (5 mins): Introduce yourself and answer a few key questions to get started.Engaging Chat Interview (20-25 mins): Share your experiences in an online chat, highlighting how your values align with ours.Live Interview: Selected candidates will meet with the hiring manager to explore their alignment with the team and overall Utz company culture.Continuously Pursuing Excellence!Here at Utz, we have a passion for exciting and delighting consumers with delicious snack foods made from high quality ingredients.
