Senior AI Engineer

We are working with a leading technology company that is at the forefront of developing innovative AI-enabled products and capabilities across various industries, including regulated environments like healthcare.The Role Design and build production-grade AI agent systems, including multi-agent workflows and orchestration layers. Develop retrieval, context, and memory systems to ground AI outputs and support reliable multi-step workflows. Create AI-powered decision-support systems meeting accuracy, traceability, and explainability requirements. Develop distributed backend services, event-driven workers, and multi-stage processing systems for AI outputs. Build intuitive, product-quality user experiences using React and TypeScript for complex AI capabilities. Establish patterns for AI quality assurance, including automated evaluations and compliance guardrails. Own the deployment and operation of AI-enabled systems through CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and production support. Mentor engineers and contribute to raising engineering standards across the team.What You'll Need 5+ years of software engineering experience, with ownership of complex systems from design to production. Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, LLM integrations, and production AI pipelines. Strong Python expertise, including asynchronous services, type-safe development, and scalable backend systems. Strong React and TypeScript expertise for building polished, reliable, and maintainable product experiences. Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, context engineering, or other retrieval-based AI architectures. Understanding of security, privacy, access control, and data governance for AI systems. Fluency with relational databases and strong data-modeling judgment.
