AP and AR Specialist

AP and AR SpecialistWe are partnering with a growing organization in Tempe that is seeking an experienced AP/AR Specialist with a strong emphasis on Accounts Receivable and collections. This role is fully onsite and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and has experience working within a large ERP system. This job is compensating up to $60,000.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable (Primary Focus):Manage and maintain accurate AR records, including aging reports, credits, write-offs, and account reconciliationsHandle daily cash application, including posting payments, recording deposits, and updating cash activity logsLead B2B collections effortsfollowing up on past-due accounts via phone, email, and written communicationInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and customer disputes in a timely mannerGenerate and distribute weekly and monthly customer statementsProcess customer credit applications, set up new accounts, and maintain accurate customer recordsSupport invoicing processes, including proper tax application and order adjustments as neededAccounts Payable (Secondary Support):Assist with vendor invoice processing, coding, and payment runs as neededMaintain vendor records, respond to inquiries, and support annual 1099 preparationReview purchase orders and ensure proper documentation for paymentsPerform credit card processing, reconciliations, and general ledger supportQualifications:2+ years of experience in a combined AP/AR role, with a strong focus on AR and collectionsProven experience handlingB2B collectionsRequired: Experience working within a large ERP system (Sage Intacct, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)Strong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesInterested?
