OverviewThe Inpatient Center Home Health Aide, under the supervision of the appropriate professional staff, is responsible for providing personal care that assists the patient/caregiver in the achievement of optimal physical and emotional comfort at the Good Shepherd Hospice Inpatient Center in Port Jefferson, NY.3 X 12hr Shift - Rotating Weekends & HolidaysGreat Healthcare benefits, and education reimbursement of $5,250 annuallyAdditional compensation for visits over your caseloadJob DetailsRequirements:Minimum of one year experience as a Home Health Aide requiredMust possess a valid NY State Home Health Aide CertificationMust have a current, valid New York State driver's license and a car in working orderThe ideal candidate will have a prior Home Health Aide experience and will demonstrate basic understanding and commitment to the hospice concept of care for the terminally ill.Salary RangeUSD $18.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
