We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAs aHouse Supervisor, you willbe responsible formonitoring and coordinatingintradepartmentaland interdepartmental functioning of the hospital. You willbe responsible forthe direction, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of nursing performance and activities related to the care and treatment of patients within the hospital on a specific shift.You will coordinate the assignments of patients to specific unitsYou will assign nursing staff to specific clinical areas within the hospitalYou will act as the official representative of management and administrative staff of the hospital in their absenceYou will assess personnel needs based on census, acuity, and special needs of each unitWhat qualifications you will need:ExperienceMinimum of (5) years of clinical practice, (3) of which have been as a Charge Nurse or similar management roleEducationAssociate's degree in Nursing(ADN)Completion of or actively pursuing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferredLicenses and CertificationsCurrent State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
