Overnight Front Desk Agent
We’re looking for fun, dynamic, and motivated front-desk receptionist at Portland’s newest hostel, Lolo Pass. Receptionists will work closely with the company’s owners and the General Manager as a part of the opening team to provide the best experience for our first Portland guests. The environment will be fast-paced and fun as we open our doors to eager guests ready to travel this summer!
About Lolo Pass
Lolo Pass is a newly constructed 87 room, 282 guest hotel/hostel hybrid in Portland, OR. The property features both shared and private rooms. Lolo Pass showcases Portland’s exciting F&B scene with a café, restaurant, bar, and seasonal rooftop bar. Other features of the property include an art gallery open to the public, a guest kitchen, and an active programming calendar to integrate guests into Portland's vibrant cultural scene.

Working Conditions
The receptionist position will be paid on an hourly basis. Night shifts will be up to 8 hours and include weekends and public holidays. Receptionists will work up to 40 hours/week. You may be cross-trained as a barista/bartender at our bar/café as operations progress.
Duties
Act as monitor for building safety and lock up procedures
Enforce guest rules and regulations
Checking guests in and out
Prepare bills and accept guest payments
Work with the property management system to manage online guest reservations
Accept direct reservations and changes to existing guest reservations
Act as cultural concierge to guests: giving recommendations and insider tips
Handling guest questions, complaints, or issues (e.g. lost luggage, incorrect reservations, etc.)
Service, tidy and clean public areas at front of house
Coordinate room make-up status with housekeeping staff
Contribute to the hostel’s social media platform
Manage guest programming
Produce daily analytics reports for management
Conduct routine security checks and report incidents to manager
Report any maintenance issues immediately to line manager, including all furniture, fittings and equipment
Salary/Benefits
$15/hour
