Operations Support Specialist - Retirement Plan Services

**Responsibilities:**+ Produce, update, and provide best practice support on Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems. Tasks may include purchasing materials, entering budgetary information, and recording time and expenses.+ Prepare routine letters, email, minutes of meetings, and reports for approval by more senior colleagues or a senior executive.+ Schedule appointments, make arrangements for meetings and conferences, and organize travel plans, following instructions to ensure more senior colleagues or a senior executive make the best use of their time.+ Create a local document management system to support departmental efficiency and compliance.+ Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying data‐driven insights and recommending process enhancements.+ Pull, compile, and analyze statistical data from multiple systems to support reporting, trend identification, and decision‐making.+ Utilize internal systems and tools to retrieve operational metrics, generate reports, and prepare summaries for leadership.+ Apply basic to intermediate statistical methods (e.g., trend analysis, variance analysis, averages, distributions) to identify patterns, anomalies, and performance drivers.+ Support continuous improvement efforts by translating data into insights and observations that highlight risks, opportunities, and areas for efficiency gains.**Skills:**+ Plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities as they evolve to efficiently meet business objectives.+ Understand and effectively use standard office equipment and standard software packages to support business processes.+ Acquire, organize, protect and process data in order to fulfill business objectives.+ Select and deploy the appropriate office system and to use it to optimum effect.+ Apply strong technical, statistical and analytical skills to extract, validate, and interpret data with a high degree of accuracy.+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.+ Ability to work collaboratively with internal partners and support leadership needs.
