Our school is organized into three programs—preschool through 5th grade, 6th through 8th grade, and 9th through 12th grade—and the specific duties of each assignment may vary by program.We value collaboration and are committed to building a partnership with our substitute teachers to identify placements, schedules, and responsibilities that align with their strengths, interests, and availability.Substitute Staff Responsibilities:Ensure a safe school environment, both indoors and outdoors, in accordance with building operation protocols (keys, fobs, alarm codes), Daystar Distinctives, and Responsive Classroom practices.Complete all assigned arrival and dismissal duties.Fulfill essential job functions as outlined in your specific job description, and assist as needed during drills or emergencies.Be punctual, appropriately dressed, and prepared for work at all designated times.Uphold all school procedures, policies, and the established chain of command.Supervise students and support school-related duties as assigned.Follow the lead teacher's plans and guidance for classroom instruction.
