The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, project management, and leadership, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex data projects from inception to completion. The Data Science Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the execution of strategic data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.Responsibilities:Lead and manage data science projects throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and requirements definition to execution and delivery.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and managing changes as necessary.Coordinate resources, both internal and external, ensuring that team members understand their responsibilities and are held accountable for deliverables.Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines, budget, or quality, proactively implementing solutions to address challenges.Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders, including executives, team members, and clients, ensuring transparency and alignment.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and professional development.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and project management, applying knowledge to enhance project outcomes.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, specifically managing data science or analytics projects.Strong understanding of data science concepts, methodologies, and tools, with the ability to engage technically with data scientists and analysts.Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and influence cross-functional teams.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello) and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau).PMP, ScrumMaster, or other relevant certifications preferred.
