OverviewBaylor Scott & White Institute for RehabilitationPlano, TXTherapy AideFull TimeOutpatient FacilityShift Hours:40 hour weekStarting rate: $18/hrBaylor Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill our full-time opening at our Outpatient facility in Plano!ResponsibilitiesSeeking Therapy Aide to join large mutli-disciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, Patient Service Specialists and Therapy Aides. Ideal candidate is an excellent team player, is proactive in accomplishing tasks, detail-orientated, and organized. Must have excellent communication skills to work with large team and team of four techs. Secondary job duties include working with patients under a therapists' directions to help provide comprehensive rehabilitation.Duties include assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting), infection control cleaning, light equipment maintenance, driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, setting up patients on therapeutic activities, facilitating exercise groups, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team.
