Intermediate-level Audio/Visual (AV) Technician responsible for the preparation, execution, and support of live meetings and corporate events. This role ensures reliable operation of in-room and supplemental AV systems, delivering seamless media experience with professionalism and minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Operate, test, and troubleshoot audio, video, and signal systems for live meetings and events. Support built-in AV systems and supplemental equipment (cameras, monitors, computers, audio mixers). Manage graphics playback and perform minor PowerPoint editing. Administer Webex meetings, including setup and live support. Prepare, execute, and follow up on assigned events; resolve issues calmly and efficiently. Maintain and manage AV equipment, computers, and shop inventory. Set up and adjust room layouts (tables, seating, staging) per diagrams and schedules. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships. Perform additional administrative or office tasks as assigned (e.g., contract crew scheduling). Qualifications Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint required). Experience with Webex administration and live meeting support. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail. Calm, solution-oriented approach to troubleshooting under pressure. Preferred: experience with audio mixing, video switching, and camera operation. Additional Information Hourly position with overtime eligibility.
