Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will Do:We have an opportunity for a Material Control Lab (MCL) Quality Technical Team Member to be based in Columbus, GA. (onsite role).Mechanical inspection and testingPerform daily walk arounds to prior to testingReceive-in and inspect testing specimens for accuracySort priorities as neededOperate multiple machines for Specimen testingComply with all training required, including Quality procedures as well as MCL Manuals and Standard Work.Log testing data in UGAMaintain required logbooks.Perform 6s each shiftEngage in process optimization to allow success of production/quality goals while achieving and maintaining cost savingsComplete all training within the expected time givenSecond weekend shift is : Fri-Sun 7pm-7amQualifications You Must Have:High School Diploma or GEDAt least one (1) year of related experienceMust be willing to work the scheduled shift and may need to train on an alternate shift.
