Job ID : 60694-1Job Title: Network Engineer with DC experienceLocation : 100% ONSITE ROLE at Meadowslands Pkwy, Secaucus NJ 07094Duration : 6 months + possible extensionRate Range: $35 - $37/hour on W2 (All inclusive)Note: Applicants must be willing to work on W2 only.Job Summary:Deploy, operate, and maintain front-side, backend, and management networks within on-prem data centersPerform on-site visits to oversee and support new network buildouts executed by operations teamsArchitect and optimize network designs to reduce latency, packet loss, and jitter while increasing scale and performanceDeploy and support new software releases, system upgrades, and security patches for network infrastructureMaintain deep working knowledge of vendor technologies and platforms, including:AMD / PensandoCiscoPalo AltoAristaDesign for redundancy, resiliency, and future capacity growthDevelop and maintain network inventory documentation, including network diagrams, cabling schedules, and DCIMPerform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis, coordinating with external vendors and internal stakeholders as neededEnsure network architecture meets high availability and performance requirements for mission-critical platformsMonitor network health across global sitesTrain and enable on-site L1 support teamsParticipate in on-call L2 incident response on an as-needed basisRequired Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 6 years of experience supporting enterprise and/or cloud network infrastructureDirect experience with Cisco and Arista productsExperience with Cisco Nexus and Nexus ManagerHands-on experience with VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, leaf-spine architectures, and traditional data center designsExperience with RDMA network tuningIntermediate Linux skillsExperience with Python and/or Ansible for automationFamiliarity with tools such as MAAS and/or InfobloxArista ACE Level 3 or higher – RequiredCisco CCNP – PreferredExperience with non-Ethernet technologies (InfiniBand, ConnectX-5/6) is a plusCompany Benefits & CultureInclusive and diverse work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentComprehensive health and wellness benefits
