CNAs provide services that include helping clients:/pulliMaintain their personal hygiene by assisting them with bathing, dressing, grooming etc./liliAssisting with toileting and incontinence care/liliAssisting with transfers from the bed to a chair, and other locations/liliPrepare meals, for those who have difficulty preparing meals themselves/li/ulpBesides providing personal care, a CNA/PCA helps with household chores. Having someone else take care of these duties gives clients the satisfaction of knowing that essential housekeeping chores will not be neglected. A CNA/PCA helps in this way by:/pulliWashing dishes/liliDoing laundry/liliSweeping and vacuuming/liliDusting/liliMaking beds/liliPreparing meals/liliGrocery shopping/liliRunning errands when needed/li/ulpMost importantly, CNA/PCAs provide the companionship many clients need to maintain their self-worth and dignity.
