Terran Orbital is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Planning Intern to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Supply Chain Planning Intern will support our commercial and defense space programs while gaining hands-on experience in supply chain planning, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Review existing Supply Chain processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement updates, including required documentation
Develop, analyze, and validate data used within the ERP system
Coordinate the collection and verification of Supply Chain data across Inventory, Purchasing, and Planning teams
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing cost and labor across Planning and Supply Chain operations
Assist with production activities for space hardware, including new processes, tools, and equipment
Required Qualifications and Skills
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, with at least one semester remaining after the internship
Able to work full time, onsite for 8 12 weeks starting in June 2026
3+ months of applied experience (internships, labs, and team projects qualify)
Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in an integrated team environment, including daily interactions with Inventory staff, buyers, planners, and leadership
U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations
Salary Range
Freshman/Sophomore - $20 per hour
Junior - $22.50 per hour
Senior/Graduate - $25 per hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.
The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
