Technical Assistant Manager - (Electrical Planning and Design)
Job DescriptionThe Technical Assistant Manager will oversee a UL Panel Shop. Your role involves collaborating with engineers, customers and end users to help bring a Control Systems from concept to completion.Specific Duties IncludeOversee 3-5 man UL panel shopDesign and create UL508A control panel layouts and wiring drawings for production.Review project specifications, contracts, and cost estimatesProvide technical assistance to project teamsMaintain UL UL508A QMTR Qualified Manufacturer Technical Representative CertificationEnsure compliance with UL508A requirements.Train personnel on UL procedures.Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks Electrical.Provide additional support as required including assist with mechanical design development.Be a self-starter; ability to work independently as well as with other personnel and managementMaintain technical and product knowledge.Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.RequirementsCollege degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Trades and/or Electrical Licensing5 years' experience in electrical layout and/or planningTravel 1-3 nights/month requiredProficient in Excel, MS Suites, AutoCad, and Solid Works ElectricalExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to adapt to shifting prioritiesExceptional communication skills, verbal and writtenAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environmentCandidate must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorshiprecblid ct1xzztbjwlmcf035ulwza3z5ghbtk
