DescriptionPet Food** Production Supervisor 3rd Shift (12 Hour Shift)At Pilgrim’s, Safety IsACondition, which means the safety of our team members comes first - always.In this key role,you'llserve as the frontline leader overseeing daily operations within our poultry production facility.You'llensure production targets are met whilemaintaininghigh standardsfor safety, qualityassurance, and efficiency. Based primarily on the production floor,you'llcoordinate teamduties,monitorequipment and workflow, and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also requires agility to respond to operational issues in real time, helpingmaintaina productive and well-functioning workplace.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide training and create a positive work environment to help employees reach their highest potential in quality and productivity.Organizemanpower, materials, equipment, and production schedules to ensure efficient operations.Oversee employee performance and offer constructive feedback, both positive and corrective.Encourage open communication and employee involvement to build team morale and support company values.Collaborate with other departments toidentifyopportunities for quality improvement, cost savings, and process enhancements.Ensure safety standards are followed and promote a safe working environment for all team members.Take onadditionalresponsibilities as needed to support the Plant Operations Team.WhatYou’llNeedEducation:High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.Experience:1 or more years ofprevioussupervisory experiencewith leadership skills of 20+employees preferred.Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.Skills:Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making, must have basic computer knowledge,abilityto manage multiple priorities.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Why Work for Pilgrim’s?Schedule:Monday – Friday with occasionalweekends;Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after60 daysofemployment;Paid Time Off:Sick leave, vacation, companyobservedholidays or, any other statutorilyrequiredpaid leave;401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vestingschedule;Base salaryrange of $60,591 - $73,618Career Development:Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs;Better FuturesThe Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
