QA/QC Manager Data Center CommissioningLocation: Nationwide Travel (17 Days On / 4 Days Off Rotation)Industry: Electrical Construction | Mission Critical | Data CentersEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead electrical quality assurance and commissioning efforts on large-scale data center and mission critical construction projects across the United States. This role is responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in compliance with project specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience with data center electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and power distribution equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead QA/QC processes on data center electrical construction projectsOversee commissioning of critical electrical systems, including: SwitchgearUPS systemsBackup generatorsPower distribution systemsEnsure compliance with NETA, NFPA, NEC, and IEEE standardsReview electrical drawings, specifications, and commissioning plansConduct inspections and system verificationDocument deficiencies and manage corrective actionsCoordinate with project managers, field teams, engineers, and clientsMaintain accurate commissioning and QA/QC documentationSupport final turnover and client acceptanceQualifications5+ years of experience in QA/QC or electrical commissioningDirect experience working on data centers or other mission critical facilitiesStrong knowledge of electrical systems and power infrastructureFamiliarity with NETA testing standardsWorking knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and IEEE codesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage documentation and reportingProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, not requiredTravel & Work Environment100% travel required (17 days on / 4 days off rotation)Work performed in active construction environmentsExposure to varying weather conditions depending on project locationPPE required at all timesMust be able to work extended hours or night shifts as neededIdeal CandidateDetail-oriented and quality-driven; comfortable in fast-paced construction environments; strong communicator and team collaborator; experienced in mission critical electrical systems; open to consistent travel.
