Lead Maintenance

Karya Property Management is looking for a Lead Maintenance to join the team at our Music City Flats property! This is a 145 unit property. This is a full time position and compensation will range based on experience.The Lead Maintenance role is responsible for overseeing the physical property, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects. Responsibilities:Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and unitsCoordinate and schedule appropriate safety and skills training for maintenance employeesInspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenanceOversee maintenance staff, prepare weekly maintenance schedules, and allocate work to appropriate team membersContribute to the development of the overall maintenance budget and ensure compliance at the propertyMonitor inventory of materials and equipment and replenish as neededPerform other duties assignedRequirements:2 + years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or related roleMust be HVAC and EPA certifiedHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required Customer service experience Must have a valid driver's licenseBilingual is a plus, but not required Must be flexible and dependableMust be a team playerPhysical Requirements / Working Conditions:Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday Push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shoulders Must be able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds Must be able to work indoors / outdoors or in extreme weather conditions Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule
