This role is ideal for procurement professionals with expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, ERP systems, and complex purchasing operations.📍 Location: Irving, TX 🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site🔹 Position OverviewThe Senior Buyer will play a critical role in managing procurement activities for complex equipment and strategic services while driving supplier performance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization initiatives. This position requires strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities within a fast-paced environment.🔹 Key Responsibilities• Lead procurement activities for complex equipment, materials, and strategic services• Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and supplier agreements• Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders through ERP platforms• Drive cost savings, lead-time reduction, and quality improvement initiatives• Oversee supplier performance related to cost, quality, and delivery metrics• Lead RFP processes and support strategic sourcing initiatives• Mentor and guide junior procurement team members• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and best practices• Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support business objectives• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for process improvement and value creation🔹 Required Qualifications✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field✔ 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience✔ Hands-on experience with Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Lawson, or other ERP systems✔ Strong knowledge of MRP/MRO environments and procurement operations✔ Proven expertise in supplier negotiations and RFP management✔ Advanced communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills✔ CPM certification preferredThis opportunity offers exposure to high-impact procurement initiatives within a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
