Job Description Position OverviewOur organization is looking for an Ob/Gyn to join our expanding team of 12 Ob/Gyns and 11 Women's Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNPs). With a significant investment of $130 million aimed at enhancing women and children's services, our growing array of obstetric, gynecologic, and pediatric offerings will provide a vibrant community-based practice supported by specialists from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.In northern Illinois, we conduct approximately 2,900 deliveries each year and operate a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our new, state-of-the-art Women & Children's Hospital features a modern surgical department equipped with 15 surgical suites, 4 DaVinci robots, and two dedicated C-section suites within the labor and delivery unit. An OB Hospitalist team is available around the clock to provide backup and manage all labor triage.Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) consultants are accessible during the day and can be reached by phone at night. Our collegial group of Ob/Gyns is available to assist with complex gynecological surgical cases.As a teaching facility, we offer the chance to collaborate with residents and medical students. The selected candidate will also have the opportunity to apply for an academic position with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, although participation in this academic role is optional for members of our Ob/Gyn service.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.Participate in community outreach and education initiatives.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary guarantee based on wRVU production and additional incentives.
