Safety & Security Parking/Pool Attendant

Hourly Rate: $23.20PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE OF POSITION Position is primarily responsible for handling mostly patrolling parking lots and shuttle assists.Shifts: This is a full-time Seasonal position which requires to work in 1st and 2nd shifts.Driver's license: Yes, required for driving both golf cart and company vehicle.Major Duties And ResponsibilitiesActions% of TimePriority1-Critical, 2-High, 3 –MidThis role requires compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards. You may be required to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. You may be required to work outside in high heat conditions. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and assist with moving objects weighing more than 75 pounds. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room accessMonitor pool access gates and conduct personal items checks for guestDaily patrols around pool decks ensure resort policy is adhered toConduct daily physical hazard inspections, daily safety checksRespond to accidents and assist guests/employees during emergency situationsDefuse guest disturbances and escort individuals from the pool area if necessaryConduct investigations, gather evidence, and facilitate interviews with relevant parties for reported incidentsComplete required shift reports and maintain confidentiality of all safety and security documentsLost and Found function, includes pick up and guest inquiryWorking conditions; Outside, staff should follow all heat related proceduresPartner with housekeeping and engineering department to address all safety hazards foundCompleted First Aid/CPR training course; Conducted at propertyOpening and closing of safety and security command post at pool decks; portable AC coolers, first aid items, guest items and checking pool access gatesMarriott Vacations Worldwide is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
