Material Handler - Production

Purpose/Scope:This position is responsible for distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production and preparing field materials and supplies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Load and unload trucks as needed, including field related itemsConfirm and accept material deliveriesStore stock itemsPull, Deliver, and Prepare material ordersAssist on Inventory Cycle CountsSort, segregate, and stage items per designated locationSupport the Inventory Control position as a back-upMaintain clean work areas- i.e. all areas where material is stored- including trailersPick-up all debris, pallets, banding, etc. daily.Perform other duties as necessaryMinimum Qualifications:Forklift Training CertificateKnowledge of logistics of siteKnowledge of materials used and maintained on siteWell organized with data entry capabilitiesAble to work overtime as neededAble to work flexible hoursPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge and experience operating a forkliftFamiliarity with Fabcon partsUnderstanding of Inventory Control (i.e. functions, importance, accuracy)High school diploma or equivalentPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 55 lbs.Able to work in various types of climateMust be able to adapt to flexible work hours and ever-changing schedule to meet deadlinesOperate on uneven work surfaces (e.g. gravel, dirt)Work Environment:Work is both inside and outside in different weatherEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
