Java Developer - Remote Opportunity

DataCore Technologies is seeking a Java Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of its technology products. This position involves working on database optimization, backend services, application development, and performance monitoring. The selected candidate will take ownership of technical projects, collaborate with engineers, and contribute to code quality and delivery processes. Key Responsibilities:
Optimize database queries and schemas for high-throughput workloads.
Manage technology services end to end, including database schema management and participation in on-call rotations.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong code-review culture.
Collaborate with engineers across Hot Springs, Arkansas, to resolve complex prioritization challenges.
Build Flask dashboards to provide the technology team with easier access to performance and operational metrics.
Develop a React-based customer-centric application rewrite to address existing technical debt.
Monitor React error budgets and take preventive action to maintain application reliability.
Required Qualifications:
Hands-on familiarity with Ruby, supported by personal or side projects.
Ability to present ideas confidently to stakeholders at different organizational levels.
Ability to work effectively in a remote-native environment.
Comfort presenting information to junior leadership.
Proficiency in conflict resolution and willingness to develop Node.js skills.
Ability to deliver purpose-driven work while meeting deadlines.
Experience or familiarity with time management and prioritization.
Salary & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $49,000 to $74,000.Supportive team environment.
