Electrical Engineer

An Insight Global client is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team fully onsite in Owings Mills. MD. In this role one will develop electronics & PCBs for embedded systems, solve electrical & software problems, and build medical devices of all kinds.Responsibilities:Mentor junior engineersWork on a broad range of topics, including RF, battery optimization, wireless communication, microphones, synthetic radar, and control systemsManage 2-3 projects at a time, with involvement in around 10 projects overallPower optimization for battery managementDesign for wired and wireless communication/RFAnalog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, PLC'sExperience working with FPGAs, ASICsQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field8+ years of experienceHigh level of proficiency with technical engineering conceptsKiCAD, ALTIUMOscilloscope, PCB analysis & troubleshooting, soldering & PCB rework
