The operator must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):Work with mill manager on timelines and deadlines for ordersCalibrate equipment to make sure weights are correct and accurateTrack daily ingredient usageMonitor inventory of stock items and place orders as neededComplete appropriate paperwork and reportsSample feed and perform quality assurance testsEnsure the proper bags and tags are being usedOperate bagging machine and stack bags on palletsOperate a forklift and/or pallet jackPerform routine housekeepingPerform preventative maintenance on equipmentRequirementsSkills and Requirements (included but not limited to):Operation & control monitoringMathematical CompetencyCritical thinking & multi-tasking abilityReading comprehensionTroubleshootingPhysical Demands:Ability to regularly lift 60 poundsThis position requires the ability to walk, kneel, bend, climb, etc.Climb ladders and stairs and work at heights with good body balanceWork near moving mechanical parts in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to work in a dusty, cold, hot, humid environment and withstand exposure toseasonal weather conditionsEducation and Experience:High school degree or G.E.D.Previous feed manufacturing experience preferred not requiredSalary Description
