Project Accountant at INTEGRIS Lighting Dallas, TXFull-time / Hybrid (3 Days Remote / 2 Days In-Office)51-200 employees | Wholesale Building Materials Key Responsibilities:Project AccountingMaintain accurate supporting documentation for the invoice (project draw submission):Purchase Agreements / Change OrdersBackup detail for work completed.AIA G702/703 (Pay Application) + WaiversStored Materials Affidavit / Bill of Sale / PhotosSubmit invoices (draw requests) in a timely manner as required by the customer as noted in the contract. Collaborate with team members to ensure proper documentation has been secured. Prepare project invoices, ensuring they are following the contract terms. Respond to invoicing inquiries pertaining the projects Collections ManagementLead and manage collections process, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding invoices, confirmation of draw submission/approval, and expected receipt of funding.Develop and implement effective collections strategies to minimize overdue receivables.Communicate with customers regarding overdue accounts, resolving disputes.Monitor aging reports and take proactive measures to reduce delinquency rates. Client and Stakeholder EngagementServe as the primary point of contact for clients regarding billing and collections issues.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and resolution of financial matters.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 1+ years of accounts receivable and/or billing experience Experience in construction accounting/bank draw billing/G702/G703 AIA payment application form requiredProficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with SAP, Textura, GC Pay, and ProcoreExperience in a supply chain company is a plus Organized with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions Self-motivated, eager to learn and grow Strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills A team player, must be able to work with people from various functions Must use discretion and maintain company & customer confidentiality Professional demeanor #LI-DNI
