Electronics Responsible Engineer V

Responsible Product Engineer/Certified Principal Engineer Location: This position does not support teleworking; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton CO and expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full‑time. Key Activities Digital products include digital processing, software defined radio, command & data handling, controls & avionics, and any other digital systems that are utilized on Lockheed Martin space or missile systems. The critical skills utilized in this role will include experience in FPGA and/or ASIC design, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design, Embedded Software, FPGA Gateware, Systems Engineering/Requirements Management, Systems Integration & Test, Guidance Navigation & Control, and Electrical Engineering. Requirements Experience in a Responsible Engineer / Product Lead role for analog and digital electronics. Experience working with Subcontractors and sub-tier suppliers. Familiarity with other engineering processes, disciplines and Subject Matter Experts. Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.). Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification. Experience in different phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle. Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers. Proficiency in presentations and in written communications. 8+ years of professional experience. Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Electronics and/or software background. Experience in development of Analog or Digital Electronic circuitry. Experience as a Responsible Engineer of analog and/or digital electronics. Desired Skills Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Experience leading technical teams. Experience developing products for space or missile applications. Security Clearance Top Secret (active DoD clearance). Must be a US Citizen. Work Schedule 9x80 every other Friday off. Salary The annual base salary range for this position varies by state: $139,600 - $246,100 (general guideline). For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
