The Business and Curriculum Offices are currently accepting applications for the position of Confidential Administrative Assistant for Business and Curriculum Offices. Qualifications Minimum of an Associate's Degree required. Comparable work experience may be considered to substitute for the degree requirement. Have documented and proven prior experience working in a similar position. Demonstrate strong communication skills both orally and written. Excellent editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to details. Possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently alone, and cooperatively with other personnel. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of district technology platforms (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.). Exhibits strong math computation skills and number sense. Compliance with all statutory regulations for securing public school employment is required. Hold a valid driver's license. Meet such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable. Reports to: School Business Administrator, Chief Academic Officer, and Administrator of Student Performance and Strategic Planning Job Responsibilities (Including but not limited to): Prepare confidential timelines, documents, and reports for large-scale initiatives (ex. contract negotiations). Schedule appointments and meetings; handle telephone calls; route mail and confidential documents. Complete in a timely fashion, all records and reports as required by law and regulation or requested by his/her immediate supervisor. Prepare and review monthly meeting agendas (ex. Board meetings, committee meetings) Enter and manage purchase requisitions; maintain and reconcile scholarship accounts; and oversee petty cash in accordance with district procedures. Process facility use requests and coordinate approvals in alignment with district procedures. Support and monitor workers' compensation and student accident claims, ensuring timely follow-up, communication, and accurate recordkeeping. Enter and manage purchase requisitions for supervisor, field trip, and professional development accounts; follow up on purchase orders and communicate status updates with district supervisors and staff. Process field trip and professional development requests and prepare all required documentation for Board of Education agenda submission. Track and maintain timelines for grant submissions, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time. Compile, prepare, and upload monthly reports into NJ Homeroom in compliance with state requirements. Compensation $55,000 - $60,000 Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for medical and dental benefits. Sick, personal, vacation, family illness and bereavement day allotments are included.
