Angular Developer, C# Backend
Overview
In this role you will develop and maintain the ICE BI web application, focusing on a responsive Angular frontend and C#/.NET backend. You will collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure software that surfaces data insights and supports workflow improvements. You will work with AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and security. The position emphasizes hands-on coding, code reviews (including AI-generated code), and staying current with new technologies to enhance product value.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain responsive Angular front-end (v18+) applicationsDesign and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core/.NET 4.8Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and developers to deliver user-friendly featuresOptimize performance and ensure scalability across frontend and backendWrite clean, maintainable, and testable codeParticipate in code reviews, including AI-generated code for correctness and securityUse AI coding assistants to accelerate boilerplate/unit-test generation, refactor legacy code, generate documentation, and improve debuggingAssess AI-generated code and avoid exposing sensitive data in public AI toolsTroubleshoot and debug across the stackStay updated with emerging technologies, AI tooling, and best practices
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field3+ years of frontend development using Angular3+ years of backend development using C# and ASP.NET CoreStrong understanding of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RxJSExperience with Entity Framework and SQL ServerFamiliarity with RESTful API design and integrationExperience with Git including AI-aware workflowsKnowledge of CSLA frameworkHands-on experience with at least one AI coding assistant integrated into daily workflowAwareness of AI limitations, model hallucinations, and security/IP risks of pasting code into external servicesExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsproblem-solvingcommunicationcollaborationAngular (v18+)TypeScriptHTML5
