OverviewThis hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in Camp Hill, PA. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Payroll Manager to join our Accounting team! Responsible for managing payroll accounting and tax functions for North America. Also oversees the payroll tax forecasting and budgeting processes for North America. The individual manages payroll tax/accounting including payroll tax payments, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, hypothetical tax accounting, yearly W-2, T-4, and RL-1 creation and distribution, and quarterly and annual tax report filing. This position has four direct reports.FL Corporate Office - Camp Hill3543 Simpson Ferry RoadCamp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011At this time, Foot Locker will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, or another type of work authorization).ResponsibilitiesManage and assist in weekly/monthly payroll tax forecast reports for ManagementPrepare payroll tax budgets and associated analysisManage G/L account reconciliations and analytical process in BlacklineOversee the payroll tax remittance function ensuring timely and accurate payments to tax authoritiesPresent expense forecast and savings opportunities at operational forecast meetingsEnsure all journal entries are processed timely and accuratelyEnsure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and Deloitte requestsEnsure smooth month end and year end closing processManage the hypothetical tax process for worldwide expatsOversee the yearly W-2, T-4, and RL-1 creation and distribution processPrepare and manage presentation of accurate, well-supported financial analysis reportsIdentify and implement process improvement opportunitiesAbility to lead and direct associatesMay be required to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisionAbility to communicate effectively with senior management, divisions, and staffMust be able to analyze data and make observationsQualificationsRequires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or associated field3+ years of related experienceExperience working on cross functional teams, multitasking, and managing time independently with little directionExperience managing associates helpfulProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word) Strong work ethic with a commitment to achieve targeted objectivesExperience with and/or knowledge of PeopleSoft and running PeopleSoft queriesExcellent communication skills. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data.
