We collaborate with leading retail brands and are proud of the high standards we uphold in every project.We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing retail and commercial projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.WHAT YOU'LL DOPreconstruction & EstimatingCollaborate on project proposals, presentations, and preconstruction planningReview contracts, general conditions, and project requirementsDevelop and maintain preconstruction schedulesProvide constructability reviews and budget updatesCoordinate subcontractor bidding and estimate reviewsReview insurance and bonding requirementsProject Planning & SetupPrepare job setup documentation and assist with permit coordinationReview drawings, specifications, and project scopesManage project cost codes and budget trackingCoordinate submittals, release orders, and procurement schedulesAssist with field mobilization and site logistics planningProject ManagementLead project meetings and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationshipsMonitor submittals, material deliveries, and project schedulesManage RFIs, change orders, invoices, and cost reportingConduct site walkthroughs to ensure quality and project complianceCoordinate with field teams to maintain schedule and budget objectivesProvide proactive communication and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycleProject CloseoutManage project closeout processes and punch list completionPrepare final billings, retainage tracking, and turnover documentationConduct post-project reviews and maintain organized project recordsWHAT YOU BRING5–7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projectsExperience with retail, grocery, industrial, or entertainment construction projects preferredStrong organizational, budgeting, and project management skillsAbility to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans and specificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management softwareExperience with CPM scheduling and estimating preferredStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong client relationshipsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites as neededCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSSalary: $110,000 – $130,000 per year DOEBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, 401(k), PTO, 7 paid holidaysShames Construction Company is an equal opportunity employer.
