Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the development of our data ecosystem.The Data Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data ecosystem using Snowflake, Dataiku, and Azure Data Factory. This role involves working collaboratively with stakeholders to understand data requirements, designing robust data architectures, and developing scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in data engineering and a strong grasp of data architecture principles.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures using Snowflake, Dataiku, and Azure Data Factory.Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.Optimize and maintain efficient data models and ETL processes.Develop and enforce best practices for data management and governance.Lead the project management of data infrastructure initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the data engineering function.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and security.QualificationsEducation & Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.Skills And AbilitiesStrong proficiency in data warehousing solutions, specifically Snowflake.Solid experience in data modeling.Experienced with source control, preferably git and GitHub.Intermediate experience in using Dataiku for data integration and processing.Strong understanding of data architecture and engineering principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, preferredKnowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL, preferredExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, preferredAlliance Team Members Demonstrate DRIVEDedicated: Follows through on commitments.
