Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing SuperintendentWe are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction activities on active commercial projects. This role is responsible for managing field operations related to HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing installations while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.The MEP Superintendent will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to coordinate installation activities, resolve technical challenges, and ensure seamless integration between MEP systems and other construction disciplines. This individual plays a critical role in maintaining project momentum, enforcing jobsite safety, and ensuring that complex building systems are installed and commissioned successfully.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate daily MEP construction activities, including subcontractors, manpower, and equipment resourcesEnsure installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems complies with project drawings, specifications, building codes, and safety regulationsCoordinate MEP work with civil, structural, architectural (CSA), and other project disciplines to maintain proper sequencing and avoid conflictsSupervise installation of HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, piping, ductwork, cabling, and related building systemsSupport testing, inspection, and commissioning activities to ensure systems perform according to project requirementsMonitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and communicate updates or risks to the Project ManagerImplement corrective actions when necessary to maintain schedule, safety, and quality standardsConduct routine site safety inspections, enforce company safety policies, and promote a strong safety culture on the jobsiteQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)8+ years of MEP construction experience, including at least 3 years in a superintendent or field leadership roleStrong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing installationsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentsProven leadership experience managing MEP subcontractors and field teamsStrong coordination skills to manage complex multi-trade construction activitiesDemonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and regulatory complianceSkills & CompetenciesStrong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentPositive attitude, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesSelf-motivated with a commitment to producing high-quality workWillingness and desire to learn, grow, and advance professionally within the organizationEffective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholdersBenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experience (DOE)Per diem and travel allowance (if applicable)Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planOpportunity to support upcoming projects and grow with our expanding project portfolio
