Sales Manager
As a Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in the team’s success by managing the store’s sales and marketing function. Reporting: Reports directly to the General Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
Personally support every customer to Own it.
Manage the overall sales functions of the store—inside & outside sales
Drive sales by building authentic customer relationships
Set and achieve weekly and monthly sales goals
Generate new business by developing and implementing community marketing strategies
Confirm customer identification, collect money and obtain customer signatures on lease agreements
Review and close lease agreements as directed by the store manager
Assist store manager with inventory regularly
Perform routine service calls and product exchanges
Assist store manager with product ordering, including planning for future sales, events & stock balancing
Ensure execution of Aaron’s customer service program
Provide outstanding service and promptly resolve customer concerns
Assist in product staging, and warehouse maintenance
Ensure showroom floor is merchandised
Maintain the store’s warehouse in a neat and orderly manner
Monitor and ensure efficient operation of the cleaning station in the warehouse
Clean and certify merchandise in the cleaning center for all items personally returned
Additional responsibilities as directed by management
Act as a key holder as necessary
Qualifications/Requirements:
High energy, competitive leader
retail, restaurant, or related management experience preferred
Two years college or military preferred
Ability to relocate desired
Excellent interpersonal skills for daily customer contact
Strong sales skills
Neatly groomed, professional appearance
Strong communication skills
Excellent telephone manner
Strong computer skills
Strong technical skills or working knowledge of electronic products
Routinely lifting, loading, and "dollying" merchandise 50-300 pounds
Valid driver’s license
Satisfactory MVR (driving record), D.O.T. physical and drug screen, criminal background investigation with job performance reference check and required testing
