Quality Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Maintain, audit, and improve the QMS to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standardsSupport initiatives to maintain ISO9001 certification and complianceAdhere to PPAP requirements and submissionsLead preventative and corrective action initiativesImplement and monitor statistical process control capability (Cpk,Ppk) dimension data interpretation to stabilize processes and reduce variations.Develop and implement a quality assurance program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standardsRevise/update the Quality Policy Manual to incorporate statistical control programsCreate and document all quality-related procedures in compliance with IATF 16949 regulationsCreate and document all work instructions in compliance with IATF 16949 regulationsPrepares for and represents the company during all quality related auditsMeets with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as requiredRESPONSIBILITIES:Support plant quality objectivesSupport customer and internal projectsMaintain work areas in professional mannerDevelop and maintain a Supplier Quality Index, utilizing statistical control programs, to assure that only high-quality vendors are retainedPrepares all necessary reports as required by customers and staff personnelRegularly review production activity and standards with all company personnelConduct on-the-job-training, when required, to increase efficiency of the manufacturing processConducts work-in-process inspectionsAssist in performing incoming raw material inspectionsPrepare department budgets and capital expenditures when applicableEXPERIENCE/SKILLS:Demonstrates strong personal accountability and consistently takes responsibility for actions and outcomes.Performs work with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness.Actively supports and contributes to organizational culture initiatives.Shows initiative and clear drive for continuous personal and professional growth.Understands and applies key business concepts, challenges, and operational requirements.Communicates clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats.Demonstrates the ability to meet customer needs while adhering to company policies and procedures.Makes sound, timely decisions aligned with organizational guidelines and objectives.Brings enthusiasm, motivation, and a proactive approach to daily tasks.Consistently upholds professional behavior aligned with company values and ethical standards.Maintains a positive and professional demeanor in interactions with others.Applies effective problem-solving skills to achieve goals and resolve issues.Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while also effectively leading and supervising others.Inspires and motivates others to achieve high performance and meet collective goals.Sustains performance and focus when faced with challenges, setbacks, or resistance.Delivers clear, confident public presentations when required.Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with customers and team members.Demonstrates confidence in independent decision-making.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Experienced in ERP systems.Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing principles.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/CERITIFCATIONS:Minimum of two-year degreeFour to ten years' experience in quality assurance/control or bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldInternal Audit Experience/CertificationPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:· Use of sight, hearing, smell and touch senses is required to be proficient in all essential functions and responsible job functions. Fine motor skills in upper body necessary to evaluate physical objects and operate computer and manufacturing equipment.
