Restaurant Controller

The Controller will lead all financial and accounting operations across multiple restaurant concepts. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, payroll oversight, and compliance, while partnering with leadership to support strategic growth.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $100,000 – $125,000Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance401(k) / Retirement PlanLife & Disability Insurance2–3 Weeks PTO (based on tenure)Daily complimentary mealsMileage reimbursement & free parkingProfessional development & certification supportKey ResponsibilitiesOversee financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) across all locationsManage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisEnsure compliance with tax regulations and financial policiesOversee and support payroll processes (including tip structures if applicable)Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting systemsLead and develop the accounting teamConduct audits and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencyPartner with senior leadership on strategic financial decisions and growth planningOptimize systems including Restaurant365 (R365) and ToastQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of accounting experience (restaurant/multi-unit required)Strong knowledge of financial reporting, payroll, and tax complianceExperience with Restaurant365 and Toast preferredCPA strongly preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and leadership skillsAbility to handle confidential financial data with discretionIdeal Candidate ProfileHands-on, detail-oriented finance leaderExperience in multi-unit restaurant environmentsComfortable in a growing, entrepreneurial organizationStrong partner to ownership and leadership team
