Automation & Maintenance Lead
We are looking for a multifaceted professional to join our team as an Automation and Maintenance Lead. In this role, you will apply your expertise in electrical engineering, automation, and maintenance to optimize our operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to continuous improvement and excel at managing complex systems and teams within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
Oversee maintenance activities, emphasizing electrical systems and automation enhancements.
Diagnose and resolve issues in control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, VFDs, relays, contactors, and power supplies, ensuring minimal downtime.
Interpret and adapt electrical schematics, adhering to both American and European standards to facilitate seamless system integration.
Adjust machine parameters via HMI interfaces to optimize performance and efficiency.
Analyze and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic schematics to maintain operational readiness.
Implement basic PLC and HMI programming for SCADA integration, enhancing data collection and process control.
Supervise the startup and commissioning of new automation systems and equipment, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal performance.
Maintain safety systems, such as emergency stops, interlocks, and safety PLCs, to uphold the highest safety standards.
Required Skills:
Proven ability in PLC logic and fault diagnosis.
Proficiency in interpreting and troubleshooting electrical schematics (US and EU standards).
Comprehensive knowledge of industrial electrical and electronic systems.
Familiarity with HMI configuration and machine parameter adjustments.
Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems maintenance and repair.
Basic programming skills for PLC and HMI integration with SCADA systems.
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) or Certified Automation Professional (CAP).
Experience with robotic systems and basic programming.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software for layout and modifications.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
