Come join a growing team of guards in the ever-changing field of security.We offer great training and opportunities for upward mobilityOur agents are highly qualified and skilled in the art of security tactics and it shows through their work in the fieldWe utilize proprietary software and applications to enable you to be successful in your job and allow for more time to focus on the important aspects of security, i.e. observation, contacts, documentation and deliveryCompany Purpose:To serve and protect our community, clients and their guestsPrevent and deter criminal activityIdentify vulnerabilities and minimize loss to clients and their guestsProvide exceptional customer service to all those we serveHelp to maintain a safe and secure environmentRespond to emergencies and take appropriate actions to ensure the safety of everyone on the premisesJOB DESCRIPTIONHPD Security is currently recruiting for an experienced Security Supervisor in the Seattle, Washington area.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise and oversee Security AgentsConduct regular patrols and inspections of client properties to identify potential security risks or breachesRemain active in reviewing and updating Post Orders for Agent toursWork closely with the Operations Team and Field Coordinators to understand and assist with needs in the fieldDemonstrate competency with security applicationsTrain, monitor, and mentor Agents on proper procedures, protocols, documentation/incident report writing, customer service, and attireProvide Agents with feedback and implement corrective actions as needed for lateness, excessive call-outs, failure to comply with post orders and/or tours, uniform compliance, or no call/no show occasions as necessaryIdentify and acknowledge top Agents for growth opportunitiesAnticipate training needs, job review and providing feedback to security staffIssue written documentation to Agents when warranted and maintain direct communication with leadership teamCollaborate with clients, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders to address security concerns and develop effective solutions as neededRespond to and resolve any security incidents or emergencies in a timely and appropriate mannerImplement measures to maximize retention by helping to build the HPDS cultureDrive HPD Security company patrol vehicle while on dutyJOB SKILLSStrong Leadership and Customer Service skillsUnderstanding of Security, de-escalation techniques, and report writingStrong oral and written communication skillsFamiliarly with scheduling/ monitoring software programsAbility to hold Agents accountable to HPDS standards, verbally and writtenExcellent focus, success-driven, team playerAbility to multi-task and work under pressure meeting deadlinesCompetent with computer skills and phone applicationsTHIS JOB IS IDEAL FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:A LeaderHighly Motivated, works well independentlyPeople orientedAdaptable/flexibleCan address difficult situationsCalm under pressureAbility of making decisions in emergency situationsJOB QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Two years of successful experience managing multisite security operationsStrong knowledge of conflict management techniques and ability to de-escalate situationsMust have a valid Washington State GuardMust have a valid Washington Driver's License and a good driving record; no serious infractions in the past 5 yearsMust be a United States citizen, including of U.S. territories and/or commonwealthsMust be at least 21 years of ageAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkMaintain quality performance, attendance, and a professional appearanceEXPERIENCE:Supervisory: 3 years (Preferred)Security: 2 years (Required)WORK LOCATION: Seattle, Washington Area/ Multiple locations/ On the RoadBENEFITS INCLUDE:401(k)Sick leaveEmployee DiscountsCOMPANY WEBSITE: www.hpdsecurity.comJob Type: Full-timeSchedule:Variable Shift8 hourHolidays
