Duties Prepare and assemble meals with precision, ensuring all dishes meet high standards of taste and presentation Assist in menu planning by providing input based on culinary experience and customer preferences Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards Contribute to food preparation activities such as chopping, cooking, plating, and garnishing Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests or customers in various settings, including fine dining environments Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing workstations, equipment, and utensils regularly Follow all food safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for everyone Skills Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including cooking methods and knife skills Hands-on experience in the food industry, including restaurant or catering environments Excellent food handling practices aligned with safety standards Kitchen experience demonstrating efficiency in meal preparation and food service operations Knowledge of the food industry trends, culinary techniques, and ingredient sourcing Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person Cook job details loaded
