Sales AdministratorThe Sales Administrator plays a key role in streamlining the sales process by managing administrative tasks, supporting internal stakeholders, and maintaining accurate sales and customer data. This position allows the sales team to focus on revenue-generating activities by handling essential operational and coordination functions.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of sales administration procedures and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.This is an on-site position based at our Ashburn, VA corporate office.ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports and maintaining accurate sales recordsProcess sales orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillmentEnsure each purchase order number is correctly linked to its corresponding quote numberPull reports from the CRM system as needed or upon requestMaintain and update customer databases and sales documentation to ensure accuracy and easy accessibilityUse the Cisco CCW-R quoting tool to generate quotes for Cisco Smartnet warranties and renewalsMaintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary informationCoordinate with purchasing, accounting, and sales teams to process RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) and credit notesSearch for bids using the provided bidders list and generate reports for the sales teamFoster effective communication and collaboration with department heads, managers, colleagues, and customersCommunicate clearly and professionally, presenting ideas and reporting information conciselyManage personal workflow efficiently, proactively resolving issues and seeking guidance when neededConsistently adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of conductDemonstrate reliability by meeting attendance and punctuality expectationsComply with all safety and security protocols to maintain a safe working environmentPerform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational objective.Qualifications / Skills / KnowledgeHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of one year of proven experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support roleProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to work under tight deadlinesWhat Sets You ApartDegree in Business Management, Business Administration or related fieldExperience with Oracle NetSuite CRMCertification in Marketing, Sales or a related disciplineDSI Tech is a Cisco Partner, generating over $228 million in revenue annually.
