SCM Procurement Supervisor

JOB TITLE: SCM Procurement & Strategic Sourcing SupervisorREPORTS TO: SCM Purchasing ManagerJob Type: Full-TimeDEPARTMENT: West SCMLOCATION: Commerce, CA 90040 Job SummaryThe Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Supervisor will be responsible for leading supplier sourcing, cost optimization, and contract negotiations while supporting import and domestic procurement operations. This role focuses on developing a competitive supplier base, driving cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring long-term supply stability through strategic partnerships. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESJob duties include but are not limited to the following:1. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier ManagementLead supplier sourcing activities for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.Identify, evaluate, and qualify new domestic and international suppliers.Develop and maintain a competitive and diversified supplier base.Conduct RFQ/RFP processes and benchmark supplier pricing and capabilities.Build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers. 2. Cost Management & NegotiationLead price, MOQ, lead time, and payment term negotiations.Analyze cost structures and identify cost-saving opportunities.Develop and execute annual cost reduction and value improvement plans.Monitor market trends and material cost fluctuations. 3. Contract & Compliance ManagementLead contract development and renewal in collaboration with legal teams.Ensure all procurement contracts reflect negotiated terms and company policies.Monitor supplier compliance with quality, regulatory, and ethical standards.Support audit and documentation requirements. 4. Data Analysis & Performance ManagementTrack supplier KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, and service level.Prepare sourcing and procurement performance reports.Utilize ERP/SRM systems for data-driven decision making.Support inventory optimization and demand planning initiatives. 5. Cross-Functional CollaborationSupport new product development through early supplier involvement.Align sourcing strategies with business growth plans. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.3-5+ years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Experience with international sourcing and import operations.ERP/SAP/SRM system experience preferred.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Working proficiency in Korean (reading and writing) preferred; speaking not required
