Director of Nursing (DON) - Skilled Nursing Facility - 3549405Location: Miami, FLA Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead all clinical operations and nursing services. This is a full-time, permanent executive leadership role requiring prior experience as a Director of Nursing within a Skilled Nursing Facility.The DON is responsible for regulatory compliance, staffing stability, clinical quality, and overall nursing department performance.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide executive oversight of all nursing operations within the Skilled Nursing FacilityEnsure compliance with CMS and state long-term care regulationsMaintain survey readiness and lead regulatory inspections and plans of correctionOversee staffing strategy, scheduling oversight, and nursing leadership developmentMonitor clinical documentation, infection control practices, and quality indicatorsLead QAPI initiatives and performance improvement effortsManage nursing department budget and labor oversightCollaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary leadership teamRequired Qualifications Active FL Registered Nurse (RN) license requiredMinimum 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility requiredDemonstrated survey experience and regulatory leadershipStrong knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care complianceProven ability to manage and retain nursing staffExperience overseeing staffing, labor management, and clinical operations in a SNF environmentHospital-only leadership experience will not be considered.
