Sr. Facilities Engineer - Sterilization

For Engineering services in the Facilities area. .WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: The Technical Part: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Building Automation Systems) & four (4) years of relevant experience within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry. Bilingual (Spanish & English). Shift: Day shift (must be available other shifts if needed). Experience in: Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics Experience with integrated building solutions including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management and alarming, zoned lighting control and facility access control Tridium/Niagara or Siemens BAS experience Facility Commissioning experience The Personality Part: If you seek humanity’s well-being, are oriented to improve collective health while promoting a long-life without pain, then this is a job for you. If you think you got all this (and more!) then bring it on! AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job) Supporting design/build of clean rooms, chiller plants, compressed air plants. Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs Inspects or directs the inspection of construction, installation progress, and commissioning to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules Travel to other sites 5-10% depending on project needs.
