Job Summary The Forklift Driver is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory. This role ensures that products are handled safely and efficiently to maintain smooth warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and containers Transport materials to designated storage areas within the warehouse Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety issues Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock checks Follow all safety procedures and company policies Keep work areas clean and organized Assist with general warehouse duties as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid forklift operator certification or license Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials Preferred Qualifications Experience with different types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory control Work Schedule Full-time position Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4 PM *hours may vary Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on operational needs Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly wage: $18–$24 per hour DOE Paid time off and holidays Location Address: 10200 N Lombard St, Portland, OR 97203 Reporting Structure Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager Application Process Interested candidates should submit the following: Resume highlighting relevant experience Copy of forklift certification (if available) Contact information 3 professional references Applications can be sent to ap@redmond-inc.com Application deadline: Open until filled Equal Opportunity Statement Redmond Companies is an equal opportunity employer.
